Take the South West Trains service to Wareham. Leave
the station by the up platform (trains going to London) and look
for the bus stop, a short distance away on the left hand side.
Take bus 40 to Swanage. Get off the bus at the Swanage
travel interchange, which is also the end of the route. Take a
taxi to Chiltern Lodge.
Road.
From Wareham.
Take the A351 to Swanage, pass through Corfe Castle and take the
fork right turning to Kingston and Worth Matravers. Look out for
the sharp left turn as you leave Kingston and continue until you
see a right hand turn to Worth Matravers. Drive along this road
until you see the Square and Compass pub on the left. Turn sharp
left, after about 500m turn left into Newfoundland Close. Chiltern
Lodge is the fourth house on the right.
From Swanage.
Leave Swanage by the A 351 and take the fork left turning to Langton
Matravers. After passing through Langton look for a left hand
turn signposted to Worth. After about 1.5km take the right hand
turn into Newfoundland Close. Chiltern Lodge is the fourth house
on the right.

From Winspit
Follow the track from Winspit up to the village. The track emerges
at the bottom of a row of cottages called ‘London Row’.
Locate the duck pond in the centre of the village.
From St.Aldhelm’s Head
Follow the track to Renscombe Farm (restored as an Arts display
centre), then turn right to follow the road to the village. Locate
the duck pond in the centre of the village.
Then for either route take the road that goes uphill
and after a short distance lookout for the pub (Square and Compass).
Take the right hand fork in the road and after about 400m turn
left into Newfoundland Close. Chiltern Lodge is the fourth house
on the right.
